1. Clean the area with soapy water and a towel. 
2. Tape off the scratch. 
3. Sand the scratch down. If your fingernail catches when you run it over the scratch, use 3000 grit sandpaper. If it doesn’t, use 5000 grit. Spray the scratch and the sandpaper with water.
4. Sand against the grain of the scratch. Continue respraying and sanding the scratch until it disappears. 
5. With a microfiber towel, use a swirling motion to add “fine” polish onto the area. Use a microfiber towel to remove any excess polish and lightly buff the surface.
6. Add wax to the surface to protect your clear coat.
