Remote Start with Climate Control.

Remotely starting your Hyundai’s engine, warming or cooling the cabin and turning on the defroster is as easy as a few taps in the app or saying “Alexa, start my car and set the temperature to 75 degrees.”

Remote Door Lock & Unlock

With a simple command and your PIN, you can lock and unlock your Hyundai using your smartphone, smartwatch or even your connected home device.

On-Demand Diagnostics and Alerts

Run a full vehicle diagnostic check directly from your Hyundai’s touchscreen. If an issue is found, you can schedule service by pressing the Service Link button on the rearview mirror, and the details will be sent to your preferred dealer.

Destination Search

Remote Vehicle Start is only available for Push Button Start equipped vehicles with an automatic transmission or a Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). Not available on all models. Remote climate control is available on properly equipped models with fully automatic temperature control. Features are subject to adequate cellular coverage, signal strength, and battery power, and only available in the 50 United States. You must be an active Blue Link subscriber or within the initial free trial period to receive Blue Link services.

How do I sign up for Bluelink+?

To sign up for Bluelink+, create a MyHyundai account or log in to your existing MyHyundai account.

  1. Go to MyHyundai.com and click REGISTER if you need to create an account.
  2. Follow the quick and easy steps on the screen to set up your account. You will need your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to complete enrollment.
  3. Use the account you created to sign in to the MyHyundai with Bluelink app or manage your account on MyHyundai.com.

What is the difference between Bluelink and Bluelink+?

Bluelink and Bluelink+ both offer the same services, such as being able to remotely start your Hyundai, lock or unlock the doors, schedule EV battery charging and more. The difference is in how you pay for them.

  • Bluelink, which is available on most 2023 and older Hyundai models (except IONIQ 6), is complimentary for the first 3 years with a new vehicle purchase. After that, you’ll pay a low monthly fee to continue your subscription.
  • For 2023 IONIQ 6 and all 2024 and newer Hyundai models, Bluelink+ is at no charge for all IONIQ 6 original owners.

If I currently subscribe to Bluelink, can I upgrade my subscription to Bluelink+?

Unfortunately, no. Bluelink+ is only available for 2023 IONIQ 6 and all 2024 and newer Hyundai models.

I already own a Hyundai. Is it too late to get Bluelink+?

If your Hyundai is a 2023 model year or older (excluding IONIQ 6), then unfortunately you cannot get Bluelink+. However you can still enroll in Bluelink at any time as long as your Hyundai is equipped with it. Simply register or log in on the owner’s portal at MyHyundai.com, and click to enroll in Bluelink. You’ll just need your VIN (vehicle identification number located on the driver’s side dashboard) and a credit card.

What Hyundai vehicles are equipped with Bluelink and Bluelink+?

Bluelink launched on the 2012 Sonata and is currently available on most 2013 through 2023 Hyundai models (excluding IONIQ 6). Vehicles later than 2013 that are not equipped with Bluelink include 2013 – 2017 Accent, 2013 Elantra sedan and 2013 Tucson.

Bluelink+ launched with the 2023 IONIQ 6 and will be available on all 2024 Hyundai models moving forward.

Where can I learn more about how Bluelink/Bluelink+ features work?

Where can I get the Bluelink app?

All Bluelink and Bluelink+ features can be accessed within the MyHyundai app, which can be downloaded directly from the Apple App store* and Google Play* on your mobile device. (*Some devices are not supported).

How does Enhanced Roadside Assistance work?

Enhanced Roadside Assistance works in conjunction with your vehicle’s Hyundai Assurance 24/7 Roadside Assistance coverage. GPS coordinates for your vehicle will be provided to the Bluelink Customer Care agent when making a Roadside Assistance call from inside the vehicle using the Bluelink button.

How does Stolen Vehicle Recovery work with local police to recover my vehicle?

If your Hyundai vehicle is stolen, file a stolen vehicle report with your local police department immediately. The Bluelink Customer Care agent will need a report number to help police find the location of your vehicle.

Will Bluelink+ use my cellphone connection?

Bluelink+ is an embedded system, which means that you will be able to use most of the features without the need to have your cell phone in the car. However, some functions are enhanced with your cell phone through the mobile application like remote features.

What smartwatches and Hyundai vehicles are supported by the Bluelink smartwatch app?

The mobile app supports both Apple Watch and Android Wear smartwatches like the Samsung Gear Live, Moto 360, LG G Watch and the LG G R Watch. Additionally, all vehicles equipped with Bluelink or Bluelink+ are supported by the smartwatch app..
