Hyundai Trade-In-Value Guarantee

May 22nd, 2011 by

Hyundai pioneered America’s Best Warranty over a year ago, proving the confidence they have in their cars. Since the launch, the Japanese automaker’s dedication to customer service has morphed into something called Hyundai Assurance, a signature customer-service package which includes 24/7 roadside assistance.Starting in May 2011, the Hyundai Assurance program is adding a new provision, one all prospective car buyers can appreciate: guaranteed trade-in value. Here’s how the program works: When you buy a new Hyundai, your dealer will guarantee a trade-in value for your new Hyundai, over a two-to-four-year period, which will start at the time of sale. If you decide to trade in your Hyundai three years after you buy it, you’ll receive the amount guaranteed by your dealer… at a minimum. If your car’s value is more than the amount guaranteed, you’ll get mare than the guarantee amount. So, what’s the catch? There isn’t a catch! The only things you should know is the offer doesn’t apply to leased Hyundai vehicles. In order to receive the guaranteed trade-in value, drivers must show proof of regularly-scheduled maintenance at an authorized Hyundai dealership. So, while getting your car serviced at your favorite independent shop instead of a certified Hyundai dealership won’t threaten your warranty; it will make the trade-in-value guarantee obsolete.Considering the over-all value of the offer, however, (no-pun intended) it’s a reasonable trade-off. And, wouldn’t you rather trust your new Hyundai to the experts who know your car best, anyway…especially knowing the award-winning automaker’s cars are on the upswing.
