Popular Mechanics tested the EPA estimated fuel economy of two 40 mpg highway vehicles, one of them being the Hyundai Elantra that you can find at this Chicago Hyundai dealer. The fuel-efficient Elantra stood up to the test, this is shown in the image below.

2010 model year Hyundais have helped Hyundai regain the top spot on the EPA Fuel Economy Report, this is the second time Hyundai has achieved the top spot for CO2 emissions and fuel economy. The EPA estimates 2011 Hyundai models will have an average of 27.5 MPG
